Blankets are made in small medium large and extra large :
Tiny – Suitable for 15-17
Small – suitable for 19-21 weeks
Medium – suitable 22-25 weeks
Large – suitable 26-33weeks
blankets can be made for tiny babies up to full term babies, in a choice of three colours baby pink , baby blue and white.
materials used are brushed cotton and super soft Minky ( dimple ) fabric
the aim of the blanket to create a special bond between you and your baby choose one of these beautiful bereavement blankets. Your baby will then feel warm and settled in the casket .
our preemie baby sizes are designed not too overpowering compared to a new born blanket, which would be way to big.
At Sandyrose bears we specialise in the tiniest of sizes for every baby no matter how soon they were born at.. When a baby is born sleeping (or in other words that sadly passed away in the womb). often these babies are passed to mum in a huge paper towel. Or a new born sized baby blanket if the family brought one with them in mum s delivery bag Its a crispy sheet style often made from recycled pulp paper. This isn’t comfortable for baby to be wrapped in their coffin. Especially to be cuddled with close family before a final goodbye.
We only use the best and softest fabrics for casket baby blankets .
It’s important for us for you to know you wont worry about them feeling the cold for their final resting place. We want you to feel rest assured your baby is dressed and snuggled close, paying respect to their honour.
All blankets include a small pillow embroidered with the message sweet dreams ( in the colour of your choice)
