Hey, I'm steph! I live in Lincoln with my partner and our two children. I originally started up Dream Come Drew as a hobby, because my mental health was declining and I really needed something to focus on. After a tough few years I needed something for me. 6 days after my second child was born, my first born was diagnosed with cancer - so the next two years was all about hospital trips, treatment and worry. Luckily he is in remission now and we have time to do normal things. Painting and crafting has been my saviour, the children love all of mummy's creations too which is a bonus! Most of my creations are bright and colourful, because to me that's a symbol, the world is colourful - no matter how dark it may seem sometimes. I started out just doodling mandalas, and then sketching people. Slowly I realised I did actually have a little bit of talent, I had never been creative before so it was all completely new and I learnt along the way. And after lots of encouragement from family and friends decided to turn it into a little business. I've since moved on to acrylic paintings but I'm hoping to get my sketchbook back out very soon! I offer originals aswell as prints, plus decoupaged products and painted wood hangings. I put my all in to each painting or product, so everything is made with lots of love and time.
