Welcome to our latest handmade highlights, and as the week has been another cold and blustery one, this set of fabulous new gift ideas is as warm and vibrant as the present the autumn colours!
Grab a brew and settle in for our latest picks from the new items added to #MadeByMums this week ☕😊

On the subject of keeping warm on these brisk Autumnal days, my first highlight this week is this cute marching elephant blanket from Stitch Street Crochet. Crocheted in pale blue with a grey edging, this blanket is available for £40 and ready to be posted. If you would prefer it in another colour, pop your choice in the order notes, but please note that it will take time to be made.

If you’re looking for something snuggly to help keep you warm whilst out and about, then Raffy & Bee has added this gorgeous braided skinny cowl/infinity scarf. Made to order in 100% Blue Face Leicester yarn, these cowls can be ordered with one (£21.50), two (£24) or three coils (£26.50) and come in the natural un-dyed colour of the yarn.

Once you’re back in the warmth of home you could be admiring this steampunk Disney inspired canvas from SteampunkItUpUk. Beautifully crafted in shades of black, bronze and copper, this mixed media canvas can be yours for £25 on and its way to you at the end of the week. It would make an unusual and beautiful gift.

If you need a card for any celebration, then Leas Cards & Gifts has been adding more of her beautiful cards to her shop. Included is this new birthday card design which is available for £3.75. The message ‘Happy Birthday’ has been printed inside already, but as the card is 6×6 inches big, there is plenty of room for your message.

Another one of our talented card makers, AnnMade, has added some more Christmas cards this week, including this stained glass style one. As well as the gold embossed sentiment on the front of the card, there is also the message ‘Thinking of you at Christmas’ inside of the card. Available for £3.75 this card would be sent by 1st class Royal Mail and can be posted to you tomorrow.

As well as having cards decorating your mantel piece, how about this gorgeous hand painted ornament from Made By Donna? Approximately 25cm in size, these friendly little Robin garden visitors can be watching over your festivities for just £25.
With the Halloween now in the rear view mirror, we’re sure we’re not the only ones thinking ahead to Christmas – and definitely not if you look at the fabulous festive creations we’ve seen new this week!

It’s such a magical time of the year, and if you have little pickles, these wooden Christmas Eve boxes are a captivating way to add to the atmosphere. Available for £27.50 from Bella Casa, they can be personalised with the name the lucky child who it is intended for. With a turnaround of ten days, you will still have plenty of time to find lots of goodies to fill up their box of treats!

Meanwhile, Crazy House Crayons has a lovely little box of festive activities that will help keep children occupied and not poking for presents! For £7 these little gift boxes come ready tied with a bow and a tag waiting for a name to be added. Please note that due to the size of the contents, that these boxes are only suitable for children over 36 months old.

Finally this week, we have this delightful Christmas tree dribble bib from Baby Bear Keepsakes. This bandana style bib has been made with a gorgeous Christmas tree print cotton jersey fabric with a micro fleece backing. With snap fasteners to enable the bibs to be put on and taken off easily, these bibs are perfect for newborns as well as older babies. This made to order bib is just one of the gorgeous designs that have been added this week. A stylish and festive way to keep that Christmas outfit clean during Christmas lunch!
That’s all for us for another week. Thanks so much for reading – stay safe and have a good week ahead.
