After making this beautiful pastel rainbow baby blanket for a friends newborn baby, I have fallen in love with the design.

This particular blanket measures 35″x35″ making it a great size for using in the pram, pushchair, moses basket or even in the car. I also use a blanket this size in the evenings if it’s a little cooler to keep my legs warm so not exclusively a baby blanket.

Each blanket is made from 100% acrylic yarn which is machine washable at 40 degrees making it a perfect blanket for babies and small children and all the mess that the little darlings bring along with them.

I have only made it in the pastel so far however can make it in the bright and bold colours shows in other photos too. Alternatively the design works well in varying shades of one colour for example pinks, blues, greens or purples.
