This beautiful Red crystal Granite shines with its natural beautiful colours, found on the beach at Hawkes point Carbis Bay St Ives.

Granite is composed primarily of quartz and feldspar, It also may contain Orthoclase, which is a form of feldspar which can form in plate-like layers with short prismatic crystals and tabular inclusions.

This piece of jewellery have been hand crafted by myself in Cornwall, assembled with sterling silver fittings with selected marbled crystal granite. The Granite pieces have taken about a month to achieve the shiny finish using the tumbling method, this method is a mechanical action achieving the same as when stones are tumbled by the sea for years along the shore.
