Why not upcycle a tin can instead of throwing it away. This is a pattern to make a bright colouful cover for a tin can to use as a pencil pot, toothbrush holder, to keep your make up brushes or crochet hooks in.
You will need:
Aran weight yarn. I use cotton, but acrylic will work just as well.
5mm crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Normal tin like a baked bean tin cleaned and dried with the label removed.
(My tins measure approximately 7cm x 11cm give or take a mm or two)
