The tradition of giving a horseshoe at a wedding dates all the way back to pagan times! Originally given to the bride by a child, the crescent shape represents the moon, which in turn represents fertility. The bride was to hang it from her bouquet and it had to stay upright so as not to ‘spill’ any good luck!
Now of course it’s just a lovely tradition. This painted wooden horseshoe shape can be personalised to meet your needs and is 15cm in length.
