Welcome to our Weekend Wrap Up
Hello and welcome to another week where we’ve been spoilt for choice with so many beautiful items being added by so many of our makers.
This week I’m starting with the Cosy-Stripes handmade baby blanket from Soozy Sparkles. For just £45 this beautiful crochet blanket of alternating granny stripes and double crochet in pink, blue, green and lemon can be keeping a special little one cozy and warm.
If you’re looking for a pair of roar-some harem style trousers for a baby then check out this fleece lined lion print pair from Baby Bear Keepsakes. This pair for £8.50 is for a 0-3 month cutie! Perfect to help them stay snuggly whilst out for a walk with you.
If you’ve got a safari/wildlife themed room, or you just love zebras, then check out this fabulous crochet zebra animal head from Makepeacemade. Available for £85, this crochet ornament comes with a hanging ring so that you can find the best place to place it in your home.
If your home is anything like ours, it will be chock a block full of books and toys. This week Peach Tree Wood has added a listing for this beautiful and practical storage solution to help keep things tidy. Once you have chosen between plywood (£95) or pine (£145) for the construction of the unit, you still have to decide on whether you would prefer soldiers, whales, or you can even send some wall paper to the maker so that your unit will match your decor! Further details can be found within the listing. Please note that these are made to order so will not be dispatched right away.
I am sure that you are all aware that as the seasons are changing, that Halloween and Christmas are on the way. I know that both myself and other makers are very aware of both at this time of year. Again this week we have had some fantastic gift ideas added by our very talented makers.
For Halloween, why not crochet an anatomical heart using this pattern from Louise Victoria Designs? As well as the written pattern, for £5.50 you will receive a full colour photo tutorial to walk you through the construction of the heart. Don’t forget to make sure that you’re logged into your Made By Mums account when you buy this, so that you will always have access to the pattern through your very own download library.
Maybe you’re looking for something a smaller to accompany your outfit on the spookiest night of the year? How cute are these black cat earrings from Doyle’s Resin Design? With glow in the dark eyes and a holographic sparkle, these would make a great addition to your Halloween outfit and are available for £8.50.
After the spookiest night, comes the longest night, and that will be quickly followed by Christmas! It will be here before we know it I’m sure, so now might be a good time to start looking for those extra special touches to make it one to remember.
First up are these £3 beaded Christmas decorations from Morse Mama. You can personalise these with up to 6 letters which means that they can be used as tree decorations or gifts tags for many years to come.
My next choice is this beautiful flat bauble from Wiggles Bear. With ‘Our Angel’ wording, glittery hearts and stars, this gorgeous keepsake could become a treasured addition to your decorations for years to come. Available for £5, she only has one available so you’ll have to be quick!
And my last highlight for this week is a handmade and coloured card from Annmade with a sentiment that I think the we can all get behind. This Doves of Peace Christmas card is available from her shop for £3.75 and has ‘A wish for peace’ as the message on the front.
That’s all for us for another week. Thanks for reading, and have a lovely week ahead all 😊
