I’m a mum of two amazing babies (6 and 3 but they’ll always be my babies), one furry baby (crazy black cocker spaniel called Bella), wife to a super supportive husband and a creative, stubborn, family and nature loving introvert.

An eco-friendly operation

Everything I do, I always try to be as eco friendly as possible, avoiding plastic in my jewellery and packaging, unless it’s preloved in which case, might as well prolong it’s life and use.

I love making jewellery so much and a lot of the time, I carry a particular design in my head for days as I mainly work in the evenings when kids are in bed and some days I just run out of time. 

Grabbing some ‘me time’

It’s my ‘me time’ and I love every minute of it.

I also love painting and generally creating pretty things. I’ve actually started my little business selling paintings and clay decorations. I’m not even sure how it happened but when I stumbled across jewellery making, I got totally hooked and it’s been a love affair ever since.

The good thing about making jewellery and being a mum is that I can do bits at 10 minute intervals and keep coming back to my creations as and when I get a chance, can’t unfortunately do the same with painting.

Craft fair successes

I’ve done quite a few fairs which have actually been my main earners and in the future I’d like to do more of those. I do enjoy selling online too though, there’s nothing like waking up in the morning and finding an order or two in my inbox.

It’s been such an exciting journey and in the future, once both of my little ones are at school, I hope to make a part time job out of my little endeavour and work around the school runs and holidays.
