I have made this quirky and eye catching black cat brooch using white linen and black felt fabrics.
I hand embroidered the cat in a stretching position, it is a completely hand embroidered item.
I also added some and embroidered flowers, a rainbow and some leaves.
I embellished it with sequins and a tiny metal bell, and adding some sparkle with blue glitter thread.
It was cut out from the linen once hand embroidered, I backed it with black felt, sewed the two pieces together, and added the brooch fittings.

The result is a large vibrant brooch that will definitely be a talking point when you wear it!

It has two brooch fittings attached to the back to ensure a secure fitting.

It measures 9 by 9 cm.
